Role and Responsibilities
IT Unlock’s mission is to improve our client's current IT condition. We are looking for a talented Service Continuity Analyst. This is a permanent position. The work is done remotely until new instruction from the government and the candidate must live in Montreal. Beautiful technologies and nice challenge are waiting for you.

Missions

  • Knowledge in disaster avoidance and control strategies.
  • Work with various groups to support the Business Recovery seating locations across the US, Canada and Brazil.
  • Assist with other resources for the successful resumption of business operations in the event of a disaster.
  • Assist the efforts of staff members in different functional areas during a crisis situation.
  • Assist with testing of the Business Recovery seating locations.
  • Work with the Business Continuity Planners on BIA’s and BCP’s and coordinate the testing of recovery support and business resumption procedures in different functional areas.
  • During a declaration, assists recovery support and business resumption staff in the implementation of response and alternate operating strategies. May act as the coordinator during emergency situations.
  • Assist with management to ensure Disaster Recovery issues are addressed as new equipment, facilities, services and systems are installed.
  • Maintains contact with outside contingency planning professional organizations and local/regional emergency response groups.
  • Perform the annual review of Application Recovery Manuals (ARMs), working with the Application Managers and IT-Risk on reporting update status.
  • Will assist the Director with the fulfillment of auditing requirements.
  • Expected to be on call 24X7.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning and coordination

EDUCATION

Nice to have:
  • CBCP certification

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ready to learn and adapt to existing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
